LAMP KEROSENE:
Kerosene is an oil derivative. When crude oil is distilled, various fractions characterised by different boiling points are separated. Larger molecules are more difficult to evaporate, and this fraction separates at higher temperatures. Lamp kerosene uses: furniture and textile production, coatings, detergents, foaming agents, agricultural chemicals, laboratories, polymer production, polymer processing.
HAZARD LEVEL:
Highly flammable liquid. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, naked flames and sparks. May be fatal if swallowed and enter airways. Irritant to skin. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Suspected of damaging fertility. May cause damage to organs (lungs, skin) through repeated or prolonged exposure (dermal, inhalation, oral). Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Density at 15 °C: 0.770-0.805 g/cm3 clear, colourless, possibly slightly yellowish liquid.
